Beck Ranch
About
Originally homesteaded in 1882 by the Tanner family, our grandparents Earl and Ruth Beck moved here in 1932. And except for a few years when new owners added on and completely remodeled the old pioneer home in 2008, it has remained in our family ever since.
Sitting at an elevation of 6,000 feet, the temperatures in Indianola July through August are between 80-87 for the highs, with the lows between 43-49. Although the house stays at a comfortable temperature most of the day Spring through Fall, we have recently added a swamp cooler for the month or so when the afternoon temperatures in the house are uncomfortable.
