Stake Conference

Dear Stake Family,

I hope this letter finds you well. We are excited to gather with you on February 15th and 16th for our stake conference. We will have the privilege of Elder Steve Rockwood presiding at our conference. He is an Area Seventy and is the CEO of FamilySearch.

We recognize that many of you have challenges that are heavy and that you need the comfort, guidance, and support that only your Heavenly Father can give. The Savior promised that “where two or three are gathered together in my name, as touching one thing, behold, there will I be in the midst of them...” (D&C 6:32). Stake Conference is one such opportunity to gather in the Savior’s name and witness His promise be fulfilled.

The themes of our conference will center around charity, the pure love of Christ, the temple and its promise of deepened connection with Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ, and our opportunity to build faith through sharing the joy of the gospel.

The times and sessions are:

Saturday 3-5pm: Special session for ward huddle participants

  • Young Men and Young Women who attend Missionary and Temple huddles
  • Elders Quorum Presidency
  • Ward and Stake Relief Society Presidency
  • Bishop
  • Ward Mission Leader
  • Temple and Family History Leader
  • Ward and Stake Primary Presidency
  • High Council

Saturday 6-8pm: Adult Session

  • All Adults 18 and older
  • Please bring your favorite chips and salsa to share

Sunday 7-8:30am: Ward Leadership Session

  • Elders Quorum Presidency
  • Ward and Stake Relief Society Presidency
  • Bishopric
  • Ward Mission Leader
  • Temple and Family History Leader
  • Ward and Stake Primary Presidency
  • Ward and Stake Sunday School Presidency
  • Ward and Stake Young Women Presidency
  • Stake Young Men Presidency

Sunday 10am-12pm: General Session

  • All members and friends of the stake

We invite you to study these topics during the week leading up to conference and to attend the temple with family names. If we will prepare together we’ll see an outpouring of the Spirit.
