From Westfield 1st Ward

Westfield 1st ward did an at home youth conference this year that turned out great.

Wednesday Night we went tubing at Soldier Hollow. Price was $16 per person. Our reservation was from 6:00-8:00. It took about 35 minutes to get everyone checked in once we got there, so leave extra time for that when planning. For group inquiries, please e-mail sales@uolf.org or call (435) 658-4253

Friday Night we had Sammie Holbrook from our ward come and give a short devotional (about 20 minutes) and then had pizza and soda at the church. Afterwards we went bowling at Jack n Jills in Lehi. Pizza was $7.99 for a large pizza from Dominos. Bowling lanes were $45 per hour per lane.

Saturday afternoon we had Mo Bettahs cater a lunch. Cost was $8.69 per person. They deliver it directly to the church with paper goods included. Deliver fee was $20.00 and then additional cost for the tip. After our catered lunch we had Brother Tauai come and speak to the youth about Trusting in the Lord and shared some really cool war stories and how he learned to Trust in the Lord while serving in the Military.

We also had beanies made for the youth that said Trust in The Lord. They loved them. They whole week turned out great! It was the perfect combination of spiritual and fun.
